If you so used to RiU , then you would’ve known that they been replenishing the drinks in the room every other day for years now. And you just sat there and said that you gave that guy $5 and now you have better in your room. Did you stop and think that you may get that person fired, because you’re on camera blabbering about a $5 you gave him? And complaining about you couldn’t get a dinner reservations. There were people that were there before you checked in. So stop the whining.. But thank for the update. I always go to RUI Montego Bay, and it always fun.

My husband and I stayed here last year. I enjoyed the food, but the garden view was a joke. I also agree that the planes were loud. Now, I know to watch your reviews before I visit any resort :)

Stayed there a few years ago, great for families maybe .The evening eating experiences were particularly disappointing, mostly because of the noisy canteen atmosphere. We went as a couple and enjoyed a lot of the offerings but I have to agree with a your general sentiment about the place.

In Luxor right now. In the pyramid. Comped with a resort credit and some free play. Clean room. Everything works. Low limits for table games. And Mandalay is right next door. Not a bad option.

This place is overpriced and overrated. The staff members are snobby ans the patrions are rude and arrogant. Smh soend your koney elsewhere. 😩

Did you do the all inclusive package? I just called, and they said it's an additional $160 per person per day/night to the stand room rate.

Next time in Cozumel go to Occidental at The Royal Level Área (free room service)or go to Presidente Intercontinental Hotel, because almost all other hotels have a los of rocks when you get into the sea. Never ever to Secrets, Sunscape or Dreams, the beach área is terrible and getting into the Water is very complicated

I live in Playa Del Carmen with my 6 years old daughter for over 3 years and never feel unsafe here. In Canada while pregnant there was a shooting during the day right in the front of the house, I didn't know behind what wall to hide with my big pregnant belly. LOL. Here in Playa Del Carmen I walk with my daughter everywhere and feel safe. Of course like everywhere you have to keep your eyes open however I don't feel unsafe. Mexican people are nice sweet friendly people, and I made more friends here in 3 years than I made in Canada in 20 years.

So my opinion is this place sucks. We’re into day 4 and the service is absolutely horrendous! You have to go all the way to the main bar to get bottled water otherwise it’s served in a glass which is a hard pass for me. There’s no way they are cooking the food properly, I’ve had the travel bug twice which is beyond bad( I’ve almost went through my small box of Imodium). The only & I mean ONLY positive so far is the Indian restaurant. The drinks are crap. We did not do star class. Needless to say I will not be coming back. My point of reference is the excellence resort chain, that is what I expect.

If you’re flying from somewhere outside of California, you can always catch a cheap flight to lax or John Wayne airport and then take a direct cheaper flight to Cabo. I actually prefer Cancun way more but I’m on California time so it’s a pain to have to fly to a destination and lose 3 hours.

The GOAT is Barceló Beach. I’ll be going every other month for many years.
